Using a sophisticated copper pipe cooling system, we are able to efficiently dissipate the heat without the need for internal fans. This fanless design allows the V100 rugged notebook to employ sealed design protecting against dust and water.
Being able to work in any environment is critical, even freezing cold conditions. By insulating the storage drive inside a heating blanket, we are able to boot the computer without risk to the drive or it's data in environments as cold as -4ºF. The low-temperature feature comes standard with every V100.
With two USB 3.0 ports, a serial port, an Ethernet port, IEEE 1394a port, and a VGA port among others, the V100 has plenty of ports to connect the peripherals that you use.
Your V100 can be configured with a solid state drive (SSD) for quicker boot-up, speedier access to applications, faster read/write speeds and lower power consumption. And, since a SSD has no moving parts, it's less prone to the common scratches that occur in conventional hard drives reducing potential downtime.
