  • Solid State.

    Your S400 semi-rugged laptop can be configured with a
    solid state drive (SSD) for quicker boot-up, speedier access to applications, faster read/write speeds and lower power consumption. Since a SSD has no moving parts, it's less prone to the common scratches that occur in conventional hard drives, reducing your potential downtime.

  • Heat Dissipation.

    Most semi-rugged computers throttle down the CPU to
    control heat overload. Only the S400 semi-rugged laptop maintains up to 89% of it's CPU processing power when the computer heats up.

  • Low Temperature.

    Being able to work in any environment is
    critical, even freezing cold conditions. By
    insulating the storage drive inside a
    heating blanket, we are able to boot the
    computer without risk to the drive or it's
    data in environments as cold as -5.8ºF.
    The low-temperature feature comes
    standard on all S400's configured with
    the i5 processor.
